I’m borrowing a line from “Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang” because it seems to go along with Portholes! (And in case you don’t know the rest of that song, it’s “Posh, with a capital P.O.S.H.” That seems to fit because these are pretty posh quarters for little Narnian sailors!) Stuart framed the spots for the portholes today.
He also fashioned neat, shiny circular linings out of sheet metal.
This way the kids can’t drop stuff down inside the walls. Of course, Murphy’s Law being what it is, they would always drop something they desperately need–or that we desperately need! So this clever idea of Stuart’s is a great one from a mimi-perspective.
